He just climbed up in this chair and went to sleep. He does not feel well today. He is having a reaction to the immunizations he got yesterday.

Supper Time

I fed Drew is supper first, before Kevin and Addie got home today. He was finished eating...or so I thought! The plate he is eating from is Addie's. I am not sure if he just pushed her out of the way or if she was actually done! But, this is where I found him! It was his first time to have ranch dressing and he apparently loved it!

Made it home

Well, we made it home. I will get LeAnn to put some pics up tonight or tomorrow. There was a delay in Atlanta due to weather, We were in the Atlanta airport for 5 hours, so close, yet so far. We finally got to Huntsville about 11:30 last night. We were all so excited to see each other we visited too long before going to baggage claim, there were no bags and no one at the Delta counter. Fortunately we found a lady who took us to where they had stored our luggage and we were able to get it before we left. The trip home went much better than I anticipated. Drew slept several hours. I did not even have to resort to the Benadryl, I assure you I had plenty, just in case. Even when he was not asleep his behavior was good. He got tired and fussy during the long delay in the Atlanta airport, but what do you expect coming off a 13 hour flight. I do not know who all was praying for us, there must have been a bunch of you. I, and the people around us appreciate it. Addie keeps wanting to know "What happened to his hand?" On the way home she asked if Drew could spend the night. She is still working on the concept of brother. She asked again today if he could spend the night tonight. While Addie and Drew were playing this a.m. Drew put his toy in the dogs water dish. I asked Addie if Drew had done that and she said "Yes, but it was an accident." Covering for him already. Ellyse is being a good big sister and Drew has taken to her well. We slept for about 4 hours last night and took a 2 hour nap this afternoon. We are tired but trying to hold out until regular bed time so we can get back on US time quicker. We will get pics up soon.

We are outta here!

Well, we just finished a big breakfast. Packing up our last few items and just waiting for time to leave. Again, I appreciate everyones prayers and comments. Keep praying for us for about another 26 hours.

Got our documents and we are packing up

We got the brown envelope and his visa. We are ready to come home. As you can see Drew is checking everywhere to make sure nothing is left behind. He likes to get in things. The last pic is Drew brushing his teeth and getting ready for bed. I have never seen a child that likes to brush his teeth so much.

We will be leaving for the airport in the a.m. at 9:45. Our plane leaves a little after 12:00 p.m. China time. We will be landing in Huntsville at 10:31 p.m. on Thurs. Apr 2. There are some families that got to leave today but some who don't get to leave until Fri.

As I sit here, our last night in China, you would think it is a time for some thought on how our lives are changing and to give a few touching words reflecting on the past two weeks, but all I can think is, man that is a long trip.

Keep us in your prayers, that I may have patience and that Drew will be unusually sedate, if not for me than the poor souls sitting around us.
