We got the brown envelope and his visa. We are ready to come home. As you can see Drew is checking everywhere to make sure nothing is left behind. He likes to get in things. The last pic is Drew brushing his teeth and getting ready for bed. I have never seen a child that likes to brush his teeth so much.
We will be leaving for the airport in the a.m. at 9:45. Our plane leaves a little after 12:00 p.m. China time. We will be landing in Huntsville at 10:31 p.m. on Thurs. Apr 2. There are some families that got to leave today but some who don't get to leave until Fri.
As I sit here, our last night in China, you would think it is a time for some thought on how our lives are changing and to give a few touching words reflecting on the past two weeks, but all I can think is, man that is a long trip.
Keep us in your prayers, that I may have patience and that Drew will be unusually sedate, if not for me than the poor souls sitting around us.
See you all soon,
Kevin

Kevin,
ReplyDeleteWe will be praying that you have a safe and UNEVENTFUL trip home. Maybe Drew will sleep. Got any Benadryl? Just kidding. Have a safe trip.

Kevin,
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine being on a plane for an hour with my nephew and neice that I'm watching here in LA. while my sister and brother-in-law are gone for a few hours. I think I have atleast 100 more gray hairs. As always you are in my thoughts and prayers. On the drive down here yesterday I thought of your whole family and the changes that will be taking place when everyone sees Drew. Wish I could be at the airport. How exciting that will be!!! Take Care,
LeAnn be sure to take pictues, lol :) :) :)
Kevin, funny to see the pic with the toothbrush-must have been something they rewarded at their orphanage, because Delilah loves to brush her teeth too-just went to the dentist today, NO cavities! All is going well here too-no medical concerns. Looking forward to seeing the orphanage pics.
