It is 3:00 a.m. and I can not sleep. I went to bed around 9 and slept until about 1:30. I tried reading a book but that did not help. I think i am up for a while. I looked at what i posted last night and the description of one of the pics was not accurate. That was the bell tower. The first pic here shows the bell tower and the hotel. The second is the restaurant I ate super at. The third is a picture from the top floor of the mall across from my hotel. It is big. One whole floor is nothing but shoes, I thought of how Maria would have enjoyed that.
As I said earlier I get Drew today at 4:00. I have to straighten the room and try to childproof it as much as possible. It will be like trying to childproof my office as this room is about the same size. It is pretty nice just small. No drawers to put clothing in. I have stuff everywhere right now. Overall I like it here, great location. Lot's of places to eat near by so i do not have to eat in the hotel all the time. I know last time we were all sick of the club sandwich at our hotel. Much cheaper to eat away from the hotel as well. My meal last night was under $4.00, and I was stuffed, pork and mushroom dumplings. I could not help but think Glen would love this place (sarcasm). Well, they say only wierdos blog after 3 a.m. so I guess I will get ready for tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteHope this finds you well rested (ha)! Sounds like you are eating well though. I know all about bad plane partners, they can really ruin a trip! Hope your allergies are not acting up too bad. Mama was worried about you. I am so excited!! I'm also especially anxious to hear your first impressions of Drew. It's one thing to hear about him from someone else, but it's better to hear from you firsthand. I'll be praying for both of you as you start your journey together.
